Instructor Led Training (ILT)

This course is a training for childcare site providers as an update on CACFP best practices. Topics covered include benefits of breastfeeding for infant, mother, and family. Also, how to create a breastfeeding friendly environment at the childcare site and communication skills when interacting with parents. 

Business goal: Update participating CACFP childcare site providers on current best practices in regards to breastfeeding support. A rate increase in mothers who breastfeed at participating CACFP childcare sites is desired for government reimbursement of meals.

Performance/Behavior change: Childcare site providers will discuss breastfeeding with parents, change their childcare site to be aesthetically and logistically more supportive to breastfeeding efforts, and make appropriate referrals to community resources.

This course is a training for health care workers within a medical setting about infection control. The intent is to reduce infections within their medical environment as much as possible.

Business goal: Reduce insurance costs and liability risks through infection control. 

Performance/Behavior change: Health care workers will follow infection control protocols.
